Markt 4, Bonn
Brewery as it should be. Good quality and sufficient quantity. You will be deliciously full.
Normal city restaurant. Eat to some extent. Service was nice. Repetition factor = maybe
Old Bonn beer bar with good food and nice service. Go there when you're in Bonn, it's worth it! π·With a mask
always a must when in Bonn. Great local food and beer and also the interior of the restaurant make a visit typical for Bonn. Directly next to townhall, this restaurant has historic value. I used to frequent it for dinner in 1983 during my university days. Its amazing how some areas preserve their presence!
Awesome restaurant with antique decoration and rich history. We donβt speak German but the waitress was really patient and gave us great recommendations. This restaurant is a must try in Bonn for sure!
The restaurant is really very stylishly furnished. No cheap decoration, instead it was color-coded very much, very good-looking. For my part, I certainly come here with my relatives and can rely on being served flawlessly. From my point of view, a visit here is absolutely recommended. For my part, I can say that as long as nothing has disappointed us! It was a success in my mouth every time.
Food was delicious, but portions could be bigger for the price. Were there for lunch and it was pretty empty.
delicious rustic restaurant with a long history in the center of Bonn's old town, nice service, good selection of food, good value for money.
Quaint pub with a lot of Bonn flair! So is the team. Lots of typical Rhenish dishes, but currently also something Bavarian in October. It's best to reserve for the evening.
Very friendly staff, food is great!
If I'm not mistaken, the HΓΆttche is Bonn's oldest inn. The menu includes everything that the Rhenish cuisine or German tavern cuisine has to offer. Super tasty, fast and friendly service, moderate prices. Very nice, right next to Bonn's beautiful town hall. Conclusion: Recommended.
Super delicious celery schnitzel with sweet potato fries and delicious salad eaten. Price performance ratio in order. Service very nice and cheerful nature.
The premises are beautiful - unfortunately not everything else. Rhenish sauerbraten was very tough and the schnitzel with mushroom sauce didn't smell good / musty. Service underground. I never made eye contact with the waiter when he was at our table. Other tables desperately tried to attract attention. And that at utopian prices. Classic tourist trap.
One of the oldest, if not the oldest inn in Bonn. My distant cousin Ludwig van Beethoven danced here. Here a former elector celebrated his wedding with a Protestant canon (which ultimately cost him the job and forced him and his wife to flee to Strasbourg)
Here you get both: friendly and fast waiters, the armchairs are extremely cozy and I find the distance between the tables extremely reasonable. There you don't get the feeling of eating fish in a tin in the can. This restaurant has real potential to become my next favorite place. As far as I am concerned, I would have preferred to try it out first because of hunger, but then there would not be the slightest space for that been great meal more.
The food was good, and the atmosphere was really nice
Cozy tent good food cheaper as the neighbor
Very varied menu, where you usually think it's just reheated ready meals. However, this is not the case. We had Rhenish Sauerbraten and meatball with fried egg and fried potatoes. Both were delicious. I found the drink prices a little overpriced, otherwise everything was good!
One of the best in Bonn
Great authentic place for a traditional KΓΆlsch experience.
great place food and service
A very good German restaurant. Our server was very nice and made it easy to order. Our food came hot and very flavourful. It is a casual cozy restaurant.
Disappointing. Food acceptable, service unfriendly. Cannot recommend.
Had the best schnitzel of all times.
Very good German food
I go here to show visitors what good German cooking tastes like. Good food and friendly service. Local cuisine thatβs not overly salty.
Germany original
I came here with my sis and both of us thought the meals was good and the staff were great. Nice place, was seatted to our table rather quickly. I came here for supper with my brother, we had been genuinely happy with the modern food and the prices. The food here was in fact tasty And delicious, cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu options. The personnel here are actually high grade, can't praise them enough.
Super good food
Beer and pork reasonable price
very good food :) a bit touristic but ok
Even though we were a large crowd of multiple languages (conferencees) the waitstaff got everybodies order and the food out quickly. Generous portions (other than those tiny German beers)
We were a group of 15 people and didn't hear complaints from non of them. We had traditional German food and it was great!
Went this past Monday (14.10.2019) with visiting family and had terrible service. Our waiter was super grumpy and took forever to see to our table. The meal was pricey and pretty average. All three of us also got food poisoning two days later. It was the only meal where we all ate the same thing (pork in a variation and the side salad). I *strongly* believe this place undercooked our food or used some sort of outdated mayo dressing. I do not recommend!! Save your money and stomachs for some place else.
we enjoyed traditional German dishes. There is very famous local restaurant. I recommend it if you want try German food. Atmosphere is also comfortable and nice.
Guys, it's incredible for the money. I was here at the beginning of October and the hosts are friendly and helpful, rooms are good, the location is great + nice beer:) 11/10, would totally recommend
Restaurant with a long and well documented history. Very well located in the Markt Platz, next to the old Bonn council building. Cosy and quaint venue. Multilingual staff who are fairly attentive English menus available. Good menu choices and good beer Traditional food served Food is unexceptional, verging on bland but sufficient portion size. Plenty of seating both inside and outside Recommended
Fancy location. Traditional menu. Terrible service. A place to avoid.
Typical German food but the service is a bit unfriendly
A good traditional German bar. But sometimes the staff is not the friendliest of moods, especially to non-German speakers.
A curious place In the town hall square, right next door. It has a large terrace but inside we have been able to enjoy a place that has been standing for hundreds of years and where Beethoven went. Concealer prices and very good food. Besides, the average girl understood Spanish and has been very kind
Traditional welcome in a very German establishment. The food was not so great, hard fried potatoes and schnitzel was undercooked, while the mashed potatoes of another of our party was lumpy and the meat tough althought with good flavour. All in all so near but not recommended.
Absolutely not to recommend. Impolite workers who said me some bad words after request to translate daily offer. Terrible place!
Nice place to have a beer and eat local stuff. Almost all of the customers were locals. I ordered Vienna schnitzel only because I was half full. They cooked it with butter therefore taste wise it was okay however meat was a little bit tough. I order mashed potato as a side nothing special but didn't find anything to complain. I believe 17β¬ for Main+side+salad+small beer is a fair deal.
Was here in April. The spargel was awesome. Tasty, perfect texture, ample hollandaise sauce.
Good food, great atmosphere
The food was delicious and the restaurant is beautiful and with a lot of history. The service isn't that welcoming though. I had read several comments about the rude waiters and I can confirm it.
The rudest waiter Iβve ever met. She ignored us constantly. When one of my friends went to ask English menu, she yelled at us to sit down. We were ignored forever that we had to leave. There are many more restaurants with much better service.
amazing German cuisine
We went to ask for English menu and was yelled at to sit down. The rudest waiter ever seen. She literally yelled βSIT DOWN!!β. She was rude from the very beginning as soon as we stepped into the resto and it took us so long to catch the attention of the waiter coz she was ignoring us. Better eat at McDonalds than there.
